The 2021er Spätburgunder Kreuz, as it is referred to on the main part of the label, is made from 80%-destemmed fruit picked in the steep part of
the Grosser Herrgott and was then fermented and aged in 2 to 3-year-old barrique for 18 months before being bottled unfiltered. This bright-red-
colored wine offers a sumptuously fresh nose made of cherry, strawberry, minty elements, and spices. The wine is quite juicy and nicely silky on the
palate and despite all the silkiness, there is a core of fruits and spices which add to the sense of presence. The focus is beautiful and the fruitiness
intense right into the long, a tad tart but very persistent finish. This is a gorgeous Pinot Noir to enjoy over the coming decade! 2024-2031

palate and leaves a superbly multi-layered feel in the long and persistent finish. The oak is gorgeously integrated and ups the game of this wine
from below. What a great success!"
